Mabon: A Gong Bath for the Autumn Equinox

On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, day and night will be balanced & equal once again for the Autumnal Equinox. It is traditionally a time we celebrate the abundance of our harvests & enter the season of gratitude for our successes of the year. A good time to begin to settle a bit from the activities of the warmer months & relax into a slower pace. This is an ideal moment for reflection, restoration, and to set clear intentions for the dimmer days ahead.

To embrace the cooling weather & leaves changing into their fall colors, Embassy of Sound & Copper Well Retreat are offering a special sound bath in the Sage House. Inside this beautiful yurt, participants will relax in a meditative state during a rejuvenating sound bath with the resonance of ten powerful gongs that are tuned to the frequencies of celestial bodies. Feel a grounding connection to the Earth & experience an inner peace while immersed in the deep vibrations of these sacred instruments.

No prior knowledge or ability is needed. While resting in shavasana or in a comfortable position, simply let the sound waves take you away to a dream-like world to explore or observe. Some of the benefits of a sound bath can include reduced stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure, better sleep, and pain relief. Many people also notice a detoxifying effect as well as feelings of bliss or euphoria. It's a unique and personal experience for everyone.

Admission to this special vibrational healing event is $45 per person. Space is limited & advance registration is required. Please bring your own mat, blankets, pillows, and any props or comfort items you may need.
